Welcome to DaMS!

Danish Meteorological Society (DaMS) was formed May 14th, 1979. The Society works to broaden the knowledge of meteorology, weather and climate. DaMS is open to everybody with an interest in weather. The Society has two main activities - the membership magazine Vejret (Weather) and lectures on current meteorological subjects.

Anybody supporting The Society goal can be a member of DaMS.

On November 1th 2000 DaMS had more than 600 members.
